Fiscal hypocrisy

Doesn't this just say it all?

Q She’s no Jeff Flake (an Arizona Republican who is probably the most outspoken opponent of congressional earmarks) but, she is a fiscal conservative.

A: Well, most fiscal conservatives believe that fiscal conservatism ends at the district boundary. Pork is a project in somebody else’s district.

Q: Isn’t that hypocritical?

A: That’s political.
