Musgrave: Bullying people most important thing in America

She's at it again! Marilyn Musgrave is so out to lunch it's no wonder she's going to lose!!!

Protecting traditional marriage is the most important issue Americans face today, Rep. Marilyn Musgrave said Friday, as she called on social conservatives to support candidates like herself who oppose same-sex marriages.

Speaking at the Family Research Council's 2006 Values Voter Summit, Musgrave, a Fort Morgan Republican, said she agrees with those who say legalized gay marriage would destroy religious freedoms.

Angie Paccione isn't putting up with that kind of crap!

Musgrave's opponent in the election, Democrat Angie Paccione, called Musgrave's comments outrageous.

"It's one more example of how out of touch she is with Colorado," Paccione said in a telephone interview. "Holy smokes, we're at war, we've lost nearly 3,000 people and thousands more are maimed.

"We have over 46 million Americans without health insurance. Weld County, one of her counties, led the country in (mortgage) foreclosures. You think they care about the federal marriage amendment?"

Last night in Longmont was a sad night for Ms. Musgrave. She spoke in a monotone, wilted voice like she was on her death bed - and indeed she is. She soon found out that she could not escape the Paccione masses that were there to show support. Ms. Musgrave looked pale, nervous and had a look of death in her eyes. On the other hand, Angie was a fireball! She was passionate as she pointed out the failings of the present regime. I can't believe that anyone cares about who is married to whom. Why pick on Gays? I would be more concerned about teen pregnancy, especially out in those rural areas where there are so many barns and hay lofts. Further more, who is she to judge? Her attack ads on Angie are the ploy of a scared woman and a very guilty one at that. She is trying to cover her own corruption and not doing a very good job of it. Her record is for all to see. Yes, this woman must go!! Back to the farm along with Barnyard Bob. May she rest in peace!

I heard a story on the news about this ridiculous comment; a correction by Ms. Musgrave in which she claimed the comment was taken out of context; that what she meant was that Gay Marriage was a more important issue than other issues such as dealing with child sex crimes. It seems to me this is an opportunity for Angie to tie Musgrave to everyone's favorite Speaker of the Louse... I mean House... and talk about how the Republicans just aren't taking their own faults seriously.

I wonder what this Haggard scandal will have on Musgrave's "gay bashing" agenda in this election.

Yep. 'The Pastor you bash may be your OWN!'

You can actually gauge the fear of the wingers by the hostility of their trolling on Dem sites. Clearly, all the money in world isn't going to buy THIS election.

Poor chimp, his cage is going to need some serious hosing out Wed morning.
