This is interesting . . .

Saw this comment at dKos:

The following Colorado House members are on the Autism Caucus, yet they never support Autism Bills or general bills that help Autism. In fact, they have
voted for a number of bills that hurt disabled children and they are not cosponsors on any bill to fully-fund IDEA Act.

I would suggest confronting them with this and asking why? Are they really for the health of disabled children, or is it just resume fodder? Are they really pro-life, or only pro-birth?

Marilyn Musgrave
Thomas Tancredo

And Marilyn is a member of the House Autism Caucus. Yet, does that mean she'll fight on behalf of disabled children? Not exactly:
As I have posted before, the Republicans have never fully funded the IDEA Act, and they have passed a Budget Resolution that allows funding for disabled children to be slashed. Well, they are at it again. The Republican Budget is once again attacking disabled children. The party that believes we can't afford to cover every American with one plan, but would rather throw them to the wolves or cover them through more expensive pieces of plans, is now just cutting care for children.

hmm... I guess she misheard this part of Jesus' teachings: "...suffer the little children..." and thought he meant '... make them suffer..."

Honest misteak(sic).

I wish nothing but the worst to Rep. Musgrave for making the autism caucus into resume fodder.
